Dallas United is the North Texas area, Open Division Club Ultimate team.  We are a community of athletes and friends working together to develop and promote Ultimate in North Texas.  First and foremost we seek to improve each other and our community through active participation in recreational sports, specifically Ultimate. 
 
We strongly believe that our lives are improved by and dependent on team based sports.  Not only do we focus on healthy living and physical activity, but we are fundamentally committed to each other as teammates, friends and family.  Our commitment can be defined in three key points.

Competition drives us to improve our capabilities physically and mentally.  Teams are developed based on a competitive process focused on beating our competition.  Practice and personal workouts are all focused on allowing us to win when it matters most.  Any time we step into competition, we are committed to be at our best. 
 
Personal goals are a key part of winning.  A team is only as good as its parts.  Over the years players have pushed themselves well beyond their expectations.  Everyone involved in Dallas United is expected to set and achieve personal goals focused on making the team better. 
 
Team goals are a foundational component of Dallas United.  We have two broad goals as an organization.  First, to develop and grow Ultimate in our community.  Second, to become a perennial, nationally recognized program.  Everything we do is focused on these goals.  In college programs and rec leagues, DU players are captains and leaders on the field.  During the club season, every year is taken as a stepping stone toward building a better team. 
 
Lastly, players who are a part of Dallas United are generally leaders in the Ultimate community.  We are dedicated to helping grow the depth and breadth of our sport.  Many players have direct connections to regional college programs including, UNT, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas A&M, UT Arlington, UT Dallas, TCU and many others.  Other players have moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex from around the country, including players from Alabama, Mississippi, Atlanta, New York, the Mid-West, Florida, Canada and Virginia.
